Assignment of training via rules

The rules are the basis for which trainings are displayed to training participants. The rules in Privacysoft only support the addition of courses. Therefore, it is not possible to create exclusion rules, which, for example, hide a training for a group. A rule always represents an association of an assignment level with a training. Assignment rules

Assignment levels

Depending on the assignment level, the rules are divided into 4 types:

  1. Client: Rule refers to all training participants of the client.
  2. Company: This rule applies to all training participants in a company.
  3. Group: Rule refers to all students who are members of a group.
  4. Training users: Rule refers to individual training participants.

Client rule

A client rule is valid for all training participants in the PRIVACYSOFT client. So if you have activated the client rule "Training X", each of the participants in the client will be assigned "Training X". This was the only rule in PRIVACYSOFT Training so far and after switching to PRIVACYSOFT Training 2.0 you will first have a client rule for your participants. You will need to remove this if you want to use the other more specific rules to assign training to your trainees. Rules can always be set up where they apply, so you can set up client rules for all trainees.

Company rule

A company rule applies to all training participants assigned to the company for which the rule is created. So if you have activated the company rule "Training X", each of the participants in the client will be assigned the "Training X", who has registered via the corresponding company registration link, was assigned to the company during import or was manually assigned to the company.

Group rule

A group rule applies to all training participants in the PRIVACYSOFT client who belong to that group. This way you can set up target groups for different training types even within one company. Users can belong to several groups.

User rule

The simplest rule is the user rule, this assigns a rule only to the user.

Rules properties

Each rule has at least one start date from when it can be valid. This is automatically set to the current date when a rule is created. An end date can optionally be set for the rule. Before the start date and after the end date, the rule is displayed as archived and no training assignment takes place based on it. Rules can also be manually set to archived, in which case they are immediately invalid and no training is assigned based on those rules.

Rules attachment

Rules can be created from the user and group detail view. User-specific rules can only be created from the respective user. The same applies to group-specific rules; they can only be created from within the groups. However, rules for companies can be created from both detail views, regardless of whether the user or group is assigned to the company.

Hinweis

The detailed views always contain only those rules that are relevant for the account/group. For example, no rules are listed for other training participants.

Training participants can be assigned training courses via various rules. They will be shown the training until no active rule applies to them.
